I am a PhD candidate in the Bioinformatics Graduate Program at the University of British Columbia and the Department of Molecular Oncology at BC Cancer Research Institute.

My research is centered on developing computational approaches to explore the spatial cellular architecture of both normal and tumour tissues.

Spatial biology is a growing field for methods development that draw inspiration from pathology, image processing, and machine learning literature.

I am especially interested in large-scale transcriptomic and proteomic analysis to elucidate how cell-cell interactions modulates the development or evolution of the cellular ecosystem.
